Our belief statement, “The Church on the Infinite Quest,” reflects our desire to continually seek God, grow in His truth, deepen our relationship with Him, and discover the fullness of His purpose for our lives. As we remain true to that spirit, Everybody’s Church stands firmly on the Word of God and the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
We believe the Bible—both the Old and New Testaments—is inspired by God and is His revelation to humanity. We believe the Scriptures are the infallible and authoritative Word of God and the only perfect and trustworthy rule for our faith, doctrine, conduct, and daily living. We believe that God’s Word provides the foundation by which we learn who God is, who we are, and how He desires us to live.
We believe in one God, eternally existing and revealed as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is the Creator of all things and that He created humanity by a direct act of His divine will and purpose. We believe every person is created by God and has value, dignity, and purpose.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who existed before His incarnation and willingly came into the world for the redemption of humanity. We believe in His incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His promised second coming.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the way of salvation and that through His death and resurrection, God has made redemption and reconciliation available to humanity. We believe Jesus Christ is not only our Savior, but also our Lord, and that those who follow Him are called to live lives that reflect His character, His love, His truth, and His grace.
We believe in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works in the life of the believer to convict, guide, teach, strengthen, comfort, and empower us to live according to God’s Word. We believe that spiritual growth is an ongoing journey as we surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to transform our hearts and our lives.
We believe the Church has a God-given purpose. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim His Word, make disciples, serve others, encourage believers, reach the lost, and demonstrate the love of Christ to the world. We believe that every believer has a place and a purpose within the body of Christ.
As “The Church on the Infinite Quest,” we recognize that our journey of faith is ongoing. There is always more of God to seek, more of His Word to learn, more room for spiritual growth, and more opportunities to serve His Kingdom.
We therefore commit ourselves to seeking God, standing on His Word, following Jesus Christ, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, loving people, serving others, and continually growing in faith.
Our quest is infinite because our God is infinite.
Our journey continues as we seek Him, know Him, grow in Him, and make Him known.
